Classrooms and Seminar Hall

The spacious classrooms help the students with comfortable and effective learning. A seminar hall with a seating capacity of 100 people, equipped with over-head projectors enables to conduct scientific seminars, presentations and co-curricular activities.

Speech and Hearing Clinic

Clinics are equipped with advanced instrumentation to provide the best possible services to patients of all the age groups. Students get exposure to all varieties of communication disorders under the supervision of experienced faculty and staff. Patients from all over north Karnataka, as well as neighbouring states such as Goa and Maharashtra, are availing services of this institute.


Well equipped speech and hearing laboratories have been provided to the students to enrich their learning experience. The labs have models, advanced equipment and computer applications that enable effective learning. The laboratories are spacious and equipped with all the required facilities that help the individual students to gain hands-on experience and improve their practical aspects.


Hostel facility for girls has been outsourced. Students admitted for BASLP are eligible to seek accommodation. Safety, security and comfort are ensured in the hostel. The institute has its own bus to transport the students from the hostel to institute. Paying guest facilities are available for boys.


Our internship students are posted at various hospitals and special schools in and around Dharwad. At DIMHANS, Dharwad they get to see several psychological and neurological related speech, language and hearing disorders. They are exposed to numerous pediatric populations with speech and hearing problems in Vittal Institute of Child Health, Dharwad. The students are posted in special schools such as USHAS School for exceptional children, B.D. Tatti charitable trust, Gadag and many others in and around Hubli-Dharwad. The above centers offer firsthand experience in rehabilitation of individuals with communication disorders under supervision.
