Classrooms and Seminar Hall

The JSS Institute of Speech and Hearing in Dharwad is equipped with top-notch infrastructure to provide a conducive learning environment for its students. The institute boasts spacious classrooms that are designed to facilitate effective learning. In addition, there is a state-of-the-art seminar hall with a seating capacity of 100 people that is equipped with overhead projectors. Speech and Hearing Clinic

The clinic at the JSS Institute of Speech and Hearing, Dharwad, is equipped with advanced instrumentation, providing the best possible services to patients of all ages. The library has been stocked with sufficient numbers of books in accordance with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) regulations. In addition, the library provides internet facilities, enabling students to access online books, journals and educational videos.

Hostels

The institute offers accommodation facilities to its female students through an outsourced hostel facility. The students enrolled in the BASLP program are eligible to seek accommodation in the hostel. The hostel ensures the safety, security, and comfort of its residents. Additionally, the institute provides transportation to the students from the hostel to the institute through its own bus service. For male students, paying guest facilities are available.

Internship

The internship program offered by the institute provides a valuable opportunity for students to gain practical experience in the field of audiology and speech-language pathology. The students are placed in well-known hospitals and special schools in and around Dharwad, including KIMS, DIMHANS, KCTRI, Vittal Institute of Child Health, and various special schools in the Hubli-Dharwad region. Through these placements, students can gain first-hand experience in rehabilitating individuals with communication disorders under the guidance and supervision of experienced professionals.
